Shipping Policy

Who do you ship with and how long does it take?

We aim to process your order within 1-2 days upon receipt. During seasonal periods, this may take between 2-5 days.

We use Aramax for our freight. Once dispatched, you will receive tracking notifications so you can see the order’s journey, so you make sure you are home when it arrives. Dependent upon where you live, shipping usually takes between 1-4 days.

Where do you ship to?

Our express shipping service covers QLD, NSW, ACT, SA and Tasmania. We ship to Perth and surrounding area between April and August.

Freight to remote or non-metro areas may incur additional costs not charged at checkout. We may choose not to ship or to agree additional costs with you prior to shipment.

What happens if somebody isn’t home when my chocolates arrive?

Our freight is automatically Authority to Leave. We also ask to please ensure that you are available to receipt the delivery once it arrives or provide an address, such as a business address, where somebody can prevent it sitting in the sun awaiting your return home from work.

Our orders are packaged to prevent melting for a limited time and we do not take responsibility for delays due to incorrect addresses provided, parcel redirections or nobody being able to accept the parcel. The courier may charge a re-delivery fee if they are unable to deliver your order the first time which will be on-charged to you.

We do not take responsibility if your order is stolen or is eaten by somebody at your residence before you get home!

How do you prevent the chocolate from melting?

All products are shipped in insulated, thermal wrapped boxes and dependent upon the time of the year they are shipped with ice bricks.

We usually don’t ship on Thursdays and Fridays to ensure that your order isn’t sitting in a hot courier warehouse over the weekend. We also may hold orders if there is extreme weather conditions in our or your location.

Unfortunately, refunds will not be given due to melted items so please consider this prior to purchasing.

How do we store the chocolates once we receive them?

Our chocolate is best stored in a cool location, out of direct sunlight and if possible, not refrigerated.

What if my chocolates are damaged when I receive them?

If your order is received in an unsatisfactory condition, please reach out to us within 3 days of receipt to info@malenychocolate.co with your order number and as many photos as possible
